The Tokyo-based (Japan) indie games developer Pocketpair, Inc are today very happy and thrilled to announce that they have just released the “Seamless World” update for their multiplayer open-world survival action game “Craftopia” (the said update is available right now for PC via Steam).

This update marks the largest update in the game’s history.

About Craftopia’s “Seamless World Update”
The open-world survival crafting game “Craftopia”, with cumulative sales of 1 million copies worldwide, has received a massive overhaul called the “Seamless World Update.” With this update, the entire world has been rebuilt into a new enormous map, allowing seamless movement across all areas and an even more immersive open-world experience. In multiplayer mode, players can freely explore the vast world together and engage in creative building activities.

In addition to new combat features such as “Shield Break” and “Power Attack,” which allow for deeper and more engaging battles, players can use new elements like the “Pipeline” to automate crafting and explore entirely new dungeons with unique new mechanisms.

Update Content Summary

A completely new Seamless World
The existing islands have been replaced with a brand-new enormous map containing various connected biomes, which can be traversed seamlessly. Whether in single-player or multiplayer, the game is now more enjoyable and comfortable to play with friends.

Revamped combat system featuring “Shield Break” and “Power Attack”
Players can unleash a well-timed “Power Attack” to significantly deplete the enemy’s shield gauge and gain an advantage in combat. Keeping an eye on the enemy’s shield gauge leads to more strategic gameplay and allows for more profound and enjoyable battles.

The “Pipeline” and more Craft Automations
New crafting machines and facilities have been added, allowing players to efficiently produce a much larger number of items than ever before.

Completely Revamped Dungeons

New Roadmap Revealed
Along with the update, the roadmap for July 2023 and beyond has been unveiled. Craftopia will continue to receive regular updates, including balance adjustments and major content additions. In July, the new area “Brigandine Valley” and new underground caves will be unlocked. In August, another major update featuring new skills and crafting elements will be published.
