SEOUL – June 18, 2026 — It’s time to trade the scuba gear for khakis. Dave is heading somewhere new! Mintrocket’s beloved hybrid adventure DAVE THE DIVER today launches its all-new ‘In the Jungle’ DLC, now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch/Switch 2.

The ‘In the Jungle’ expansion sees Dave venture into all-new territory, as he embraces new freshwater responsibilities, meets the locals, helps familiar friends, and explores unfamiliar waters. Beneath the jungle lake awaits a brand-new ecosystem to explore, along with new missions and discoveries. Even Chef Bancho switches things up, trading in raw seafood dishes for grilled freshwater delicacies in the new restaurant, Bancho Grill.

To celebrate the launch, Mintrocket has released a full-length live-action short film based on the events of ‘In the Jungle.’ The film has been made in collaboration with The Asylum (creators of Sharknado, Meth Gator). View the full film below:

The ‘In the Jungle’ expansion launches with around 10 hours of new story and content, introducing surprising new encounters and mechanics that branch boldly away from the base game and previous DLCs.

“This expansion has been a long time in the making, and our team is excited to welcome our players back into the world, this time with a freshwater twist,” said Jaeho Hwang, Head of Studio and Game Director, Mintrocket.

“The jungle gave us so much creative room to play with, and we can’t wait for players to discover everything we’ve hidden in there.”

Key Features include:

A Whole New Environment: Encounter unfamiliar creatures, discover exotic new ingredients, and uncover the hidden dangers lurking within an ancient underwater civilization beneath the jungle lake.

New Restaurant, Same Standards: Welcome to Bancho Grill, where bold jungle flavors meet Bancho’s uncompromising culinary craft. Build relationships with the villagers and earn yourself a loyal new clientele.

A Warm Village Welcome: Lend a hand to the locals and earn their trust. Some villagers may be wary of outsiders at first, but as Dave knows well, a thoughtful gift or a great meal can open just about any door.

More Than Meets the Eye: The jungle holds more than lakes and villages. From mysterious ancient temples to eerie, uncharted forests, Dave and his crew will discover just how deep the unknown goes.

Note: ‘In the Jungle’ content is accessible after completing the DAVE THE DIVER base game. However, players will have an option to start straight from the ‘In the Jungle’ DLC without clearing the base game.

DAVE THE DIVER Physical Editions

From Silver Lining Direct, two physical editions for DAVE THE DIVER on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 are available to order, with delivery expected later this year.

The DAVE THE DIVER Complete Edition includes all DLC released (including In the Jungle DLC) on one disc/cartridge, and superfans can grab the DAVE THE DIVER Collector’s Edition, which is packed to the gills with exclusive treasures and trinkets.
