10 APRIL 2026 – Following its breakout success on social media, Dead As Disco will launch in Early Access on May 5th for Steam and the Epic Games Store, Brain Jar Games just announced during the Triple-i Initiative Showcase 2026.

Dead As Disco turns every fight into a music-driven performance, attracting over 1.2 million players through its demo and generating 300M+ views online as players share clips created using their own music, seamlessly syncing every punch, kick, and combo to the beat.

Today’s announcement is accompanied by a brand-new trailer revealing the Early Access date. It delivers a deeper look into the game’s neon-drenched world, epic Idol boss fights and a preview of the catchy, original soundtrack that lingers long after the fight is over.

In a new interview with Easy Allies, the developers at Brain Jar Games also share more details on the vision behind the game, its viral growth, and what players can expect in Early Access.
What to expect when Early Access launches?

Players will be treated with a wild ride through the neon-drenched world of Dead as Disco. Complete with the first arc of a rich narrative campaign, skillful challenges, rockstar fashion and an original soundtrack with over 30 songs. If that’s not enough for you, then bring your own beats with “My Music” and experience endless gameplay all to your own personal score.
