D3Publisher Inc is excited to share that “EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6” is now available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, and PC via Steam for an MSRP of $59.99/£49.99/€59,99 for the Standard Edition ($89.99/£73.99/€89,99) for the PS Deluxe Edition with a 10% launch discount).

Players who purchase the game within five months of launch will receive three decoys based on popular Vtubers Takanashi Kiara, Gawr Gura, and IRyS as well as a metal-coated version of the “Nix” combat frame. Additionally, PlayStation Deluxe Edition owners will earn the “Ranger Boarding Weapons: Blacker No. 6” as an early purchase bonus.

In the year 2024, humanity won the war against the unknown invaders known as “Primers”, and peace returned to the planet. But as a result of the conflict, 90% of Earth’s population was destroyed, leaving civilization on the brink of collapse. EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6 begins in 2027, three years after the events of EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 5. The survivors continue their efforts to rebuild but threats to the world’s safety remain persistent. The Earth Defense Force (EDF) is once again called upon to protect the planet from aggressive extraterrestrial invaders.

Featuring hundreds of new missions and weapons, EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6 supports two-player co-op with split-screen or online co-op with up to four players. Players will need to embark on a perilous adventure as they unveil an exciting new story within the EDF series. With four returning classes to choose from (Ranger, Air Raider, Wing Diver, and Fencer), each armed with new abilities and weaponry, players will need to defend Earth and engage in intense battles against a wide range of colossal and deadly alien creatures while using cunning strategies to emerge victorious and protect the planet.

In June 2023, fans and enthusiasts alike celebrated the monumental 20th anniversary of the EARTH DEFENSE FORCE video game series that has sold more than 5 million units worldwide. Two decades of relentless alien invasions, valiant battles, and saving humanity have solidified the series’ place in gaming history. From its humble beginnings, the EARTH DEFENSE FORCE series has grown into a beloved and iconic saga.
