The non-profit organization Emerald Foundation has announced a national youth esports program that will be powered by GYO Score, an esports platform from community aggregation company Harena Data.

The program allows youth esports players to explore career options in esports, compete in scholastic clubs, acquire learning skills to economically disadvantaged youth, and participate in competitive tournaments.

Through the program, any youth esports player interested in playing can establish a free club and players’ management account on GYO Score’s portal. The GYO club management account will allow their players to play digitally together on the GYO platform through the video games.

In addition to providing basic roster management for the club, the platform will allow for the players and parents to schedule esports practices, scrimmages, and social events to keep teams together. Parents are also able to sign up to track their child’s play and account, so parents know their children are playing esports with their fellow teammates.
