Limassol, Cyprus — July 17, 2026 — Global publisher ESDigital Games is excited to announce its return to ChinaJoy 2026, taking place July 31 – August 3 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Visitors will find ESDigital Games at Indie Game Area, Booth W4 IG058-IG059 and Booth W3 C202, where the company will showcase two upcoming titles: the fast-paced precision platformer Go Slimey Go!, PlayStation China Hero Project’s AWAKEN – Astral Blade, and the post-apocalyptic twin-stick action game REMEDIUM.
Throughout the show, attendees will have the opportunity to play both titles, meet the publishing team, and learn more about ESDigital Games’ growing lineup of premium indie games coming to PC and consoles.
Bounce into action with Go Slimey Go!
Making its ChinaJoy debut, Go Slimey Go! is a fast, bouncy 2D platformer built around momentum, exploration, and precise movement. Players bounce, slide, and launch through colourful handcrafted levels filled with secrets, collectibles, shortcuts, and optional challenges. The game, developed by Tembac and Chabbie Studio. has already earned major recognition, including finalist status for Best Game: Latin America at gamescom latam BIG Festival 2026, the EVA 2025 Press Award, and multiple IDA 2025 Awards for Best Video Game, Best Game Design, Excellence in Audio, and Press Over Award. Visitors to the booth will be among the first in Asia to experience the latest playable version of the game at Booth W4 IG058.
Unleash Your Power in AWAKEN – Astral Blade
Also playable at ChinaJoy will be AWAKEN – Astral Blade, the stylish side-scrolling action metroidvania developed by Dark Pigeon Games. Players take control of Tania, a highly skilled bionic fighter sent deep into the mysterious Horace Islands to investigate the disappearance of an expedition team.
As she explores a dangerous world filled with mutated creatures and hidden secrets, Tania must master fast-paced combat, unlock powerful abilities, and shape the course of her journey through important choices. ChinaJoy visitors will be able to experience the PlayStation China Hero Project’s fluid combat, striking environments, and exploration-driven gameplay at Booth W3 C202.
Survive the Plague in REMEDIUM
Also playable at ChinaJoy will be REMEDIUM, developed by Sobaka Studio. Set in a brutal post-apocalyptic Renaissance where humanity has nearly been wiped out by the Grey Plague, REMEDIUM combines twin-stick shooting, RPG progression, and dark fantasy into an intense action experience. Armed with alchemical weapons and experimental technology, players fight through hordes of infected creatures while uncovering the secrets behind humanity’s last hope. Following continuous updates throughout Early Access, visitors will be able to experience the latest version of the game and see how development continues toward its full release.
