Press release:
April 10, 2018 – Creoteam, the creators of the football strategy game with RPG elements, Football, Tactics & Glory, are announcing the biggest update since the Steam early access release. The Ukrainian studio is by no means resting on their laurels after winning the People’s Choice award in FreeGalaktus 2017 contest.
The simulation of the football world
Football, Tactics & Glory (previously known as Football Tactics) is a combination of a manager and strategy, where improving stats is as important as in any RPG. The creators themselves proudly call it “Heroes of Might and Magic, but with footballers”. Now, thanks to the update marked 11, the Creoteam’s game has been expanded by new features, making it a world where football is not just waiting for the player’s move.
Thanks to the advanced algorithms, all teams in Football, Tactics & Glory are acting in a diverse, unpredictable yet logical way. Moreover, the game is tracking the stats of all the leagues and teams as well as of the individual players. Because of that, teams led by AI are no longer using predetermined squads, but build their teams based on statistics and predictions about their opponent’s formation and current form.
New transfer system
The advanced system of statistics allowed for the redesign of one of the most important elements of every football manager – transfer market. In the current state, the player is given a list of players, whose form won’t change in time. Selling your own players makes them just “vanish” from the game. After the 11 update, the players will be really moving between clubs and their form will change, making them more or less interesting for the scouts.
The devil is in the details
Football, Tactics & Glory has received a few adjustments, that will please those who pay attention to details. The most important one, from the successful manager’s perspective, are more detailed information about player’s status, available after pressing Ctrl while hovering over a player. Moreover, the game now offers a clear summary of every game in form of a table.
There were also a few cosmetic improvements to the game. The player’s portraits have been polished and their animations during the game are not only more authentic, but there’s more to choose from. After netting a goal the scorer will react differently – the previous animation of jumping up and down has been replaced with new celebrations. Same goes for the team who conceded.
Football, Tactics & Glory is available on Steam in a limited time 20% discount.
