Aug 28, 2019 — Wide Right Games has announced today that Freedom Finger will be arriving on Steam and Nintendo Switch on Friday, September 27. Freedom Finger is the highly satirical, toe-tapping shoot and beat ‘em up game full of butt-clenching action, kooky hand-drawn animation, and a star-studded cast.

Freedom Finger comes from the mind of Emmy-nominated producer Jim Dirschberger and features art from Travis Millard. Players in Freedom Finger are tasked with the mission of rescuing the American moon research team that has been taken captive.

Guided by commanding officer Major Cigar voiced by Nolan North (Bender from Futurama) the satirical and foul-mouthed trippy journey begins. Piloting the hilarious middle finger brandishing spaceship players will face rhythm-based chaos and explore a myriad of worlds some of which feel like a missing episode of Ren and Stimpy.

Lovers of shoot ‘em ups and beat ‘em ups will find something to love in Freedom Finger. Players can choose to shoot oncoming opponents, punch their way through, or grab enemies making anything their weapon.

Players will also be able to discover new levels and paths based on the choices they make in the game, making each playthrough different from the last.

Currently in closed beta, players can get a first look at Freedom Finger and the still hilarious but less potty-mouthed version of the game with the recently announced Censored Mode.
