Press release:
PQube (London, UK) September 19, 2017 – In 2016, Gal*Gun: Double Peace changed the world forever. There was moe as far as the eye could see, as gamers were shooting their love everywhere, but then, the stark coldness of reality set in. Real life is not kawaii enough, they lamented. I want to go back to the Doki-Doki zone, they said.

Well, PQube and Inti Creates are excited to let you know that the time has come to prepare your bodies once again. The most feel-good shooter of all time makes its return with the announcement of Gal*Gun 2, coming to Europe and North America in Q1, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Prepare to have your senses assaulted with gorgeous moe action and experience the next level of Gal*Gun magic. Featuring new characters and new mechanics, Gal*Gun 2 takes one small step for man and one giant leap for moe-kind. Suck up pesky demons with the trusty “Demon Sweeper” sidearm! – Separate demons from the girls they’re possessing with a well-placed pheromone shot, then suck them up for bonus points! In Gal*Gun 2, you might even find some new things to suck up…

Doki Doki Mode is back, baby! – Get stuck into the action with one of the most (in)famous features of the “Gal*Gun” series. Doki Doki Mode will be back in Gal*Gun 2 and better than ever. A brand-new story with new cutie pies to meet! – The story of Gal*Gun 2 kicks off with the demon-hunting angel Risu, who finds herself in a really tough spot. Making things even more complicated for our protagonist are two new heroines: the “girl next door” Chiru, who happens to be a total shut-in, and your childhood friend and classmate Nanako.

Helping out girls is the key to a happy academy life! – Take on requests from girls at the academy who are, unbeknownst to them, the target of demon’s mischief! These requests take time and efficiently managing your schedule is important to keep your days on-track. Earn demon-busting points to unlock new missions and story scenes. What kind of out-of-control academy life you lead is entirely up to you!

Playable at Tokyo Game Show 2017

Inti Creates is at TGS2017 in force with a world-first playable demo of the PS4 version of Gal*Gun 2, and you better believe it will be an “experience”! There’s special events and even swag to hand out at the booth, so if you’re there, visiting them is highly recommended!
Gal*Gun 2 is bringing moe back on PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Q1, 2018!
