Press release:
CASTELLÓN, SPAIN – September 21th, 2017 – Did we write hexagon? Sorry, it was a typo -we meant hexadium, each of the hexagon-shaped combat areas located inside the planet HIVE IV. Hexadiums are scenarios that are divided into 6 zones, each of one with its own gravity. No, this wasn’t a typo, each sector shows a different gravitational behavior. Are you ready for this innovative and frenetic battlefield? Prove it! HIVE: Altenum Wars is already available on PC and Mac, on Steam Early Access for €5.99/$5.99/£4.99

HIVE: Altenum Wars is a multiplayer hero shooter in 2.5D side scrolling with a gameplay based on fights between two teams of five players each. We play the role of the best fighters of the different factions that exist in the game lore: human military (UFG), humans modified by altenum (NHC), robots (EVO), and evolved aliens (Aeons). What is the reason why they fight against each other? Altenum, a vital energy source for interspatial travelling in the XXVI century. Help your teammates to conquer the hexagonal coliseum a get fuel to explore and colonize new planets! Here is what you need to know:

Choose from three online game modes (one of them offline too):
Team Deathmatch – Get the highest number of enemy kills in a team fight.
King of the Hill – Teams must conquer and defend one of three different strategic points scattered across the map.
Survival – Offline or Cooperative Mode. The hero faces waves of enemies.
Unique gameplay with 4 eligible factions (8 playable characters) and a broad customizable range of skills and weapons. Up to 10 players simultaneously.
Perform tricks jumping between different gravity zones in a fast-paced environment.

Developed in Spain, HIVE: Altenum Wars started its development in 2014 and it is now ready to take over the world. The game has been awarded in several national events such as Gamepolis or Sony Playstation Talents, which means Catness Game Studios will release this title on PlayStation Network. Yes, HIVE: Altenum Wars will also land on PlayStation 4. However, we cannot share more information about it, as we have a lovely alien pointing our head.
Our weapons are loaded and ready! We will be back soon with more information (once we get rid of this extraterrestrial cutie). In the meantime, join us on Steam!
