Snowcastle Games is excited to take “Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure” into open beta on Steam.

Coming later to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure is a spin-off title to the acclaimed RPG by Snowcastle Games, Earthlock, and takes players to a mysterious island where they must overcome evil pirates and a series of trials by collecting, farming, and crafting to save the creatures and make the island their own.

The game’s charming soundtrack is composed by Snowcastle Games’s audio lead and composer Theo Nogueira and features a contribution from YouTube sensation hurdy-gurdy player, Patty Gurdy, whose music video for a theme aptly titled “Piratehog Chant” is out today.

“Working with Snowcastle Games has been an exciting step in my career,” notes Patty Gurdy.

“As a musician, it is an honor that I get the chance to work with different media such as video games, because it teaches yet another layer of the power of music. Snowcastle Games is a team of hard-working and kind people who taught me a lot about the unique aspects of this medium, and I could not have had a more welcoming start into the world of games.”

“Being a part of making music for the world of Umbra is exciting,” notes composer Theo Nogueira, “But when you get to work blending the sound of the hurdy gurdy with stomps and a choir of Patty Gurdys and her amazing songwriting, you feel like you’re there, living a pirate life. Working with her has been a joy and she is now a major part of our game.”
