Press release:
The Austin-based (Texas, the US) indie games publisher Devolver Digital and the Vancouver-based (Canada) indie games developer Daniel Mullins Games, today announced with great thrill and delight that they have just released the free “Kaycee’s Mod” mini-expansion for their abominable deck-building roguelike “Inscryption” (the “Kaycee’s Mod” mini-expansion is available right now for PC via Steam GOG, and the Humble Bundle Store).
Kaycee’s Mod, a free mini-expansion for Inscryption that hacks Leshy’s Cabin into an endless, and increasingly challenging, roguelike, has launched today on Steam in a free update. To coincide with the news, Inscryption is now 30% off!
Apply different skulls to your run to ascend the Challenge Levels. Reaching new levels unlocks new cards, challenges, and dev logs inscribed by the late Kaycee Hobbes as she uncovered the secrets on the disk.
Uncover more at inscryption.com.
In Inscryption you will…
Acquire a deck of woodland creature cards by draft, surgery, and self mutilation
Unlock the secrets lurking behind the walls of Leshy’s cabin
Embark on an unexpected and deeply disturbing odyssey
About Devolver Digital:
A small label, making a big fuss, about extraordinary games Purveyors of fine digital entertainment wares from independent artists worldwide.
About Daniel Mullins Games:
My name is Daniel and I’m an indie game developer living in Vancouver, BC. Before I released Pony Island I worked in the games industry as a programmer. But now making indie games is my full-time gig! I’m the primary creator of my games, but that doesn’t mean I can do it all myself. The talented Jonah Senzel makes the music and sound effects, and I sometimes partner with 3D artists when an extra dimension is needed.
I’m a big fan of game jams. The games that I sell on Steam are a culmination of the experimentation done during these competitions. If you are interested in playing some of my game jam entries or smaller projects check out my itch.io page.
