“Kill It With Fire 2“, the highly anticipated sequel to the cult-favorite first-person spider-slaying sensation developed by Casey Donnellan, is thrilled to announce multiplayer features for the first time ever in the franchise.

Two multiplayer modes, the four-player cooperative campaign mode and the hilarious and chaotic PVP showdown known as “Spider Hunt,” will be available in Steam Early Access in Q1 2024.

Starting today, players can play a slice of Spider Hunt’s heart-pounding action by joining the free beta playtest via the Steam page. The beta period will run until November 1, 2023, so don’t miss your chance to be part of the Spiders Vs. Exterminator showdown!

As the exterminators, players will work together by searching through maps to find weapons from rocket launchers and laser pistols to the good ol’ fashioned flamethrower and torch the opposing spider team. If you choose to side with the eight-legged arachnids, utilize your spider abilities to weave webs, slow down your pursuers, make daring jumps, and master the art of spider parkour to outsmart your opponents and cause them to cause so much property damage they get fired before you get burned.

Alongside Spider Hunt, the full game will launch with a cooperative mode that allows up to four players to embark on a spider-fueled rampage across the game’s main campaign. Every feature, weapon, level – and yes, unfortunately, every spider – will be present in the cooperative mode.

Kill It With Fire 2 launches on PC via Steam Early Access in Q1 2024. A full release on PC, PlayStation 4|5, and Xbox Series X|S is expected in 2024.
