About Lost Castle 2
Lost Castle 2 is a 2D beat-’em-up roguelite and the highly anticipated sequel to the multi-million-selling original. This sequel deepens the “Monster Hunter-lite” combat mechanics while maintaining the chaotic, cooperative spirit of the franchise.
About Hunter Studio
Hunter Studio is the independent Chinese development team behind the beloved Lost Castle franchise. Born from the dorm rooms of three university friends with a shared obsession for Monster Hunter and Dark Souls, the studio began its journey in 2015 with little more than passion, student savings, and a cramped rented apartment.
The studio’s name was chosen as a tribute to their favourite game, Bloodborne—”Hunter” representing their commitment to the hunt for great gameplay. What started as a three-person team juggling programming, art, and design with zero professional experience has since grown into a 40-person studio, with 18 members dedicated to the Lost Castle 2 project.
