6th September 2018 – The launch day of Lucid Dream, a game by Polish indie studio Dali Games, is on the horizon. The game has been available on Steam in Early Access since April 2018 and it was well received by the global gaming community, gathering positive reviews. In October, by releasing the final version of the game, the developers will allow us to experience the conclusion to Lucy’s astonishing story.

Help your closest ones

Lucid Dream is a point & click adventure game in which players control Lucy – a girl on a wheelchair, living with a mother who is immersed in her own issues. Looking for help, Lucy finds her way into a peculiar world of dreams where she has to face the demons of the past and forget her limitations. She quickly notices that’s probably her only chance to change mother’s fate and save her from slowly descending into madness. However, she must be careful not to lose her own soul. Time works against her and she’s doomed to make risky decisions in a hurry.

While travelling through eleven dreamlike worlds players must show their dexterity and the ability to observe the environment. They will use as many as 150 items to solve puzzles. During their journey, they will meet many heroes living in the world of dreams, such as the Onieromancer and the Watchmaker of Light.

New worlds – new possibilities

Lucid Dream is not only an average adventure game with interesting puzzles. The game  is full of hidden symbols and meanings, providing an amazing and unique experience. The world of dreams is no longer a subject to physical limitations, and not everything is as it may seem to be.

The hand-drawn 2D graphics manifest the emotions and fears of the protagonist which adds a unique atmosphere to the game. Just as the curiously composed music does, although it is played on instruments that are normally associated with the cheerful world of child’s mind, such as tambourine or marimba.

The full version of the game will be available on Steam on October 8th 2018 at a price of 12,49€ in five languages: English, German, Russian, French and Polish.
