Press release:
PLAYISM is proud to announce that Maid Cafe on Electric Street, a leisurely maid cafe adventure by the Shanghai-based indie developer Adventurer’s Tavern, is now available on the Nintendo Switch with both digital and physical editions!

For the first two weeks of launch, the digital edition is 10% OFF on the Nintendo eShop.

Switch Version Release

The physical edition features reversible cover art! On one side is a brand new illustration in the game’s artstyle, and on the other is an elegant spread by artist Shii Shiori, known for their beautiful maid illustrations! Enjoy two versions of the main girls in one package.

About the Game

“Um, would you be interested in becoming the new manager of the cafe?”

Fuwa Fuwa Cafe—a maid cafe tucked away in a quiet part of Nipponbashi, and where a wonderful encounter is about to take place…

You, the protagonist, quit your job at an extremely toxic workplace and find yourself at a run-down maid cafe, where a cute maid named Shiro works.

At first, you only agree to become the new manager because it conveniently met all your urgent needs, but soon the colorful maids Miyu, Favna, and Honoka join in. And as you spend time with them and meet the people of Electric Street, both you and the cafe will gradually liven up once more.

Maid Cafe on Electric Street is a story-focused adventure game where you enjoy daily life at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe. Make yourself a cup of coffee, relax, and immerse yourself in a heartwarming story.
Game Features

■ Daily Life with the Four Maids of Fuwa Fuwa Cafe
As the manager of Fuwa Fuwa, you’ll live in Nipponbashi, Osaka and spend time with your favorite maid… or maids. Go shopping, watch a movie, go for karaoke, buy a present for a special someone… What you choose to do, and with who, will affect the ending of the story.

But life with the maids isn’t as cozy and relaxed as it may seem. Maybe you should do something about the ominous voices coming from the shrine next to the cafe, or you could get the whole town involved in a large-scale campaign to bring in even more business. All sorts of events await you and the maids!

■ Support Your Maid Cafe Employees as the Manager!
As the manager, your job is to, of course, manage the cafe and the maids.

First, you’ll have to allocate work to your maids. Shiro loves serving customers, and Miyu’s a great chef… Make sure each girl is assigned the right job!

While the cafe is open, you can help out by serving customers and cheering the maids on. And with your hard-earned money, you can go shopping, eat out, or buy merch for your otaku collection.

Make Fuwa Fuwa the most popular cafe in town to enjoy Nipponbashi to the fullest!

■ Special Brews for Special Customers!
Sometimes, special customers will visit Fuwa Fuwa. Pay attention to their needs and serve them the perfect coffee! You can find coffee recipes hidden all around Electric Street.

Explore the town, collect recipes, and serve the drinks of your customers’ dreams, and maybe one day they might offer you their service as well…?

■ The Stunning Sights of Nipponbashi
Visit stores you can find in the real Nipponbashi, such as Surugaya, Sofmap, Dragon Star, Super Potato, and Karaoke Rainbow, among the many others we’ve collaborated with.

Go shopping by yourself or go on dates with the maids and enjoy life in otaku heaven. But don’t stay out too late; you still have a cafe to run!

■ Collectable Capsule Toys
If you’ve been to the real Nipponbashi, you’ll know that there are capsule vending machines all over the area. In this game, you can also try to collect your favorite capsule toy series and experience that unique gacha thrill of not knowing what you’re getting. Keep cranking those machines until you’ve collected them all!

Other than capsule toys, there’s more merch for you to collect, like video games, books, and figures. You can also decorate your room and watch as your collections reach completion!

All-Star Voice Cast

The four maids are voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa (Shiro), Ayasa Itou (Miyu), Sayumi Suzushiro (Favna), and Yui Ishikawa (Honoka).

This all-star voice cast has added even more dramatic flair to the story and make it all the more immersive!

“Um, would you be interested in becoming the new manager of the cafe?”

Shiro (VA: Ikumi Hasegawa)

A maid who loves Fuwa Fuwa Cafe. A huge otaku for anime and video games, she talks really fast when she’s gushing about the things she loves, and often splurges on merch without thinking whenever she visits an anime shop. A little clumsy, but works hard every day to become the cute maid she’s always wanted to be.

Notable Roles:

Masaki (Mayonaka Punch)
Lene Aurousseau (I’m in Love with the Villainess)
Ikuyo Kita (Bocchi the Rock!)
Vladilena Milizé (86)

“Hey Mr. Manager, thanks a bunch for hanging out with me today~☆”

Miyu (VA: Ayasa Itou)

A game otaku and gyaru with a big appetite. Loves both eating and cooking, and apparently really enjoys serving her cooking to customers at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe. Is actually Shiro’s friend on the online game Magic Angel, so they knew each other before actually meeting in real life.

Notable Roles:

Angelico Fra (Delico’s Nursery)
Kaoruko Hanayagi (Revue Starlight)
Arisa Ichigaya (BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!)

“I am the Slayer of the False God, the Queen of the Kingdom of Darkness, the All-Seeing Oracle, the Guardian of All Dreams—”

Favna (VA: Sayumi Suzushiro)

A mysterious girl dressed in gothic Lolita fashion. Speaks in riddles and demands the protagonist become her familiar. She sometimes accidentally drops the edgy act when she’s taken by surprise though, so maybe she’s just got a serious case of chuunibyou…?

Notable Roles:

Ayako (The Elusive Samurai)
Nijika Ijichi (Bocchi the Rock!)
Satono Crown (Uma Musume Pretty Derby)
Kylie (The Magnificent Kotobuki)

“Ya want a thrivin’ business? That there sounds like a job for our shrine!”

Honoka (VA: Yui Ishikawa)

A girl with a Kansaiben dialect who works as a shrine maiden at her family shrine. Practically in charge of the shrine, she is reliable and very good at handling money! Is actually a doujin author…?

Notable Roles:

Elise (Doctor Elise)
Saku Fukuzawa (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today)
Violet Evergarden (Violet Evergarden)
Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan)
