The L.A.-based (the US) indie games developer Monsoon Studios today announced with great pride and joy that their NES action shooter “Copper Jacket” has just managed to raise over 16K USD on Kickstarter!

And it’s all thanks to the support of 244 backers that Monsoon Studios managed to exceed their goal of $9,000USD and raised more than $16,000USD to fully fund the production of Copper Jacket on Kickstarter.

Copper Jacket is an action-shooter NES game that supports 1-2 simultaneous players. This is a challenging game, so be ready for a fight!

In Copper Jacket, your former boss (Commander Zaslavsky) has kidnapped your wife-to-be in an attempt to make you do his dirty work. Your mission is to defeat this sinister commander and rescue the love of your life.

Step into the action-packed game as a renegade combat expert who sports a military-grade rifle and carries with him a lot of heavy bombs.

With Copper Jacket being completed and working physical prototypes have been produced, players can enjoy up to 2 simultaneous players, 5 worlds with 13 levels, fight lots of enemies and upgrade weapons.

Copper Jacket has been designed to play on NTSC systems, but may function on PAL systems; that said, no official PAL tests have been conducted.
