October 3rd, Warsaw, Poland – Independent development studio MythicOwl has just announced they’re working on Trancelation – a fast-paced, addictive arcade game designed for everyone who values engaging gameplay and developing new skills while they play. Trance music, neon, and “just-one-more-turn” syndrome – you’ll see all that and more in the newest teaser trailer.

About Trancelation
Trancelation is an addictive arcade game that requires trigger-fast reactions to match the correct elements on the screen. Fast reflexes and precision will be the most necessary skills if you want to reach for the highest scores.

“I love arcade games a lot – you dive into the flow, the rhythm, a kind of a trance really, which is maximized by the music and the lightning effects. And if you lose, you immediately hit “retry” – involuntarily even,” says Piotr Korgul, Trancelation’s Lead Designer. “I wanted to make a game that would be enjoyable for those reasons. I’ve merged that idea with language learning, and I think no one has done something like this before – and turns out that those both elements fit together perfectly. Neon, trance, electronic music, languages… I know it sounds like a crazy idea, but who doesn’t like crazy ideas?”

Show off your skills and guide the lightning ball by pairing words in the game’s main mode, or by picking up gleaming dots on the map in one of the additional modes. Avoid the enemies and obstacles – they’ll strip you of life immediately. Use the buffs, such as bombs, shields and extra life, and collect the points for every correct word association or picked up gleaming dot!
