Get ready for a showdown! Because 24 Entertainment has just unleashed their latest major update for “NARAKA: BLADEPOINT“! That’s right! Because the said update is avaible right now for PC, Xbox, and Playstation! This new update will introduce new PvE content, open to all players every weekend.

SHOWDOWN: Chapter III sees the campaign reach its climax as warriors finally face off against the Dark Maiden atop the Yushan mountains, a new cinematic immersing them in NARAKA’s evolving lore and setting. This challenging new boss battle will test even the most experienced of players, especially those who dare to brave this quest on Nightscream difficulty.

With the arrival of this new villain, we also have a new playable hero. Tianhai joins the fight as the seventh character in NARAKA’s PvE roster. Like other heroes, he has two weapon specialties (Staff and Swarm) as well as two unique skills that can be combined to wreak havoc on his enemies. The more quests you complete in SHOWDOWN, the stronger he will become as you upgrade his abilities while also equipping lootable Souljades.

SHOWDOWN: CHAPTER III will introduce over 15 of these Souljades, each one imbued with special powers and stat bonuses for your heroes. The more powerful your equipped Souljades, the higher your Sense level which will increase a character’s core attributes and help them meet the requirements to tackle tougher missions. It’s recommended that you hit Sense level 100 before attempting Chapter III on normal difficulty. Defeating the Shadow Maiden on Nightscream will award powerful legendary Souljades.

This new update builds on the success of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT’s ambitious PvE mode, which was first introduced last year. This has helped expand the game beyond its core competitive modes which include duels, brawls, and the popular, 60-player battle royale. NARAKA recently introduced a new hero, Feria Shen, as well as an Xbox One version of their flagship game.

Looking further ahead, expect plenty of new and exciting content throughout 2023. During the recent NARAKA FEST, 24 Entertainment revealed a deadly new weapon – the Pole Staff – as well as an upcoming crossover with the twisted NieR universe.
