Press release:
After eight months in Early Access and ongoing community-driven updates, German indie developer and publisher ByteRockers’ Games has now launched the full 1.0 version of Net.Attack() – Code or Die! on Steam.

Net.Attack() – Code or Die! puts a unique coding spin on the bullet heaven genre: players program their attack patterns in a visual coding interface. It has 190+ drag-and-drop nodes, as well as synergizing optimization picks and run-defining modification drops.

What’s New?

9 Supported Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, traditional and simplified Chinese, Korean, and Japanese
Completely overhauled Tutorial & Bootcamp
In-game Documentation with deeper insight into game mechanics
A Node Collection screen to quickly view all unlocks
6 New Characters (total of 13)
32 New Achievements (total of 56)

What’s so special about it?

A customized approach to every challenge is not only possible but essential to your survival. The enemy hordes increase in strength and variation and will not be kind to those relying solely on their evasion skills. Whoever does not adapt will swiftly be sent back to the drawing board!

The release version of the game lets players choose between 13 unlockable hacker characters, 6 of which are brand-new. Each of them has unique starting abilities and specialization paths; however, they can gain access to other playstyles during a run for previously unimaginable combinations.

With multiple regions, varied game modes, and scalable difficulty, Net.Attack – Code or Die! offers plenty of content and replay value for both new and seasoned hackers.

Probably the most notable rework effort has gone towards player onboarding. While Net.Attack() prides itself on giving players the ability to come up with crazier builds than the developers ever imagined, the visual programming aspect was chosen to enable even non-coders to get into the basics quickly.

A fresh Tutorial now takes newcomers through the motions in their first play session, while the Bootcamp for intermediates teaches more complex node combinations with missions and hints to get unstuck. A thematically appropriate Documentation extends the existing tool tips, to let the curious (or confused) read up more on the underlying game mechanics.

Good news for the achievement hunters too: 32 additional challenges await you alongside the 24 staying from Early Access.

So, what are you waiting for? Put your thinking cap on and become the clever, black-hoodie-wearing hacker your teenage self always admired on TV!
