Cambridge, UK – 19 August 2026 – Frontier Developments are excited to announce the Planet Coaster 2: Silver Screen Pack is available now on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of £11.99/$14.99/€14.99.

This star-studded pack introduces the golden era of cinema to Planet Coaster 2, where Park Managers can claim the director’s chair as they oversee seven new rides, spectacular movie sets, cinematic backdrops, and striking art deco skyscrapers. Players have everything they need to build the metropolis of their dreams thanks to over 650 new and enhanced scenery pieces alongside 100+ animatronics. Plus, with the new larger-than-life Cornell Butterworth Entertainer to dazzle starstruck visitors, there has never been a better time to jump back into Planet Coaster 2.

More than just movie magic, Silver Screen offers a blockbuster line-up of rides, including the flagship Vector – New Gen Flying Coaster. Ultramodern in every way, this coaster rotates and launches riders into the future of thrill-seeking, with guests set to feel as if they’re starring in the blockbuster. The thrills don’t stop there either, with three flat rides and four tracked rides, including the quintessential backlot tour experience.

Seven Action Packed Rides:

Sit, rotate, fly and launch into the future of thrill-seeking on the Vector – New Gen Flying Coaster, an ultramodern flying coaster!
The whole family can put the pedal to the metal in retro racing cars on the Movement Construction – Slot Car.
For the first time ever in Planet Coaster 2, guests can take a trip to the movies with the new Cinema with a range of included videos. Plus, PC players can even showcase custom videos!
Break the Fourth Wall and travel beyond the screen to experience all the action in 360° on this tilting stage.
Calling all budding pilots, the classic Ground Control flat ride gently swoops and soars guests around on its oscillating arms.
The Silver Screen Pack introduces the backlot tour experience with the Big Screen Tour bringing park guests face-to-face with cinematic spectacles.
Take the director’s seat and full control over the guest experience with Re-Motion. This highly customisable, modern simulator-style tracked ride features an adjustable robotic arm holding the seats, which allows the seats to be moved freely in all directions

Accompanying these new and enhanced rides is a star-studded line-up of nine cinema-inspired music tracks, 30 movie magic ambient sounds, and over 80 sound effects to steal the scene! The Silver Screen Pack for Planet Coaster 2 combines the golden era of cinema with art deco-themed scenery and enhanced scenery from the Planet Coaster Studios’ theme to provide players with everything they need to craft the ultimate studio backlot.

Releasing alongside the Silver Screen Pack is Free Update 11. This update introduces highly requested features, including queue wait signs, five concession counters, and on-ride photos for flumes and tracked rides. Alongside these fantastic free additions is a range of bug fixes and improvements.
