Press release:
Duesseldorf/Germany, August 26, 2026 – Fans of police simulators can look forward to a brand-new installment in their favorite game series by astragon Entertainment that represents a significant leap forward in every respect – from graphics and traffic and vehicle behavior to the realistic use of firearms. The new Police Simulator is being developed by Slovakia-based developer GRIP Studios, who previously collaborated with astragon Entertainment on Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator and is scheduled for release on PC and consoles in 2027.
Police Simulator transports players to the US East Coast, specifically to the fictional metropolis of Faremont City, which comprises three diverse districts, each made up of up to five distinct neighborhoods. There, players step into the role of a police officer to uphold law and order by tackling over 50 different tasks and missions, ranging from parking violations to drug offenses and robberies. In addition to a human partner in co-op mode, players can now also choose a four-legged companion: the introduction of K-9 gameplay brings a long-awaited fan-requested feature to the Police Simulator series. Another community-requested highlight is also included in the game: the realistic use of firearms and stun guns, adhering to a clear escalation protocol.
In addition to foot patrols, players have a wide range of police vehicles at their disposal, from spacious SUVs to fast patrol cars, to maintain law and order across a vast, populated map. Sophisticated driving physics and lively AI traffic, including public transport, ensure a realistic and authentic driving experience.
Police Simulator will be available for PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series XⅠS in 2027. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
