Press release:
August 21, 2018 – Pula, Croatia (EU) – Saint Kotar playable demo Steam store page is live! Subtitled as “The Yellow Mask” and free of charge, the demo serves as a premise to the full game Saint Kotar. It is not yet available to play. However, its development is coming to a conclusion and an exact date will be announced soon. The release day will coincide with the Kickstarter campaign launch, which, if it ends successfully, will provide the needed funds to finish the rest of the full game Saint Kotar.

At launch it will be available in English, German, Russian and Italian! As a consequence, the game website (http://www.saintkotar.com/) and Steam store page are now fully localized into these languages as well.

About the game:
Saint Kotar is a 2.5D point and click adventure game currently in development for Windows, Mac and Linux. The game merges psychological horror and classically inspired point ’n’ click adventure gameplay with switchable characters.
Hand-painted in a distinctive art style, fully voiced and featuring an eerie original soundtrack, Saint Kotar draws inspiration from classics of the genre like Broken Sword, Gabriel Knight and Black Mirror, along with the works of horror fiction writers such as H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe.

Plot of the game:
Invited to attend an exhibition of medieval artefacts, the protagonists travel to Sveti Kotar at the end of October 2006. The welcome is cold, as they are dragged abruptly into a macabre series of murders, allegedly related to devil worship and witchcraft. These dreadful acts compel the protagonists to follow the shadow of something deeply hidden behind the town’s dark past.
