Duesseldorf, Germany, September 26, 2026 – Seafarer: The Ship Sim is now available for PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S. Whether you set sail alone or together with others in cooperative multiplayer, you can build your own maritime career.

Following its Steam Early Access launch on October 7, 2025, Seafarer: The Ship Sim now reaches its full release. At the same time, the maritime game makes its debut on PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S. Thanks to full crossplay support, you can set sail together in cooperative multiplayer across all supported platforms.

With accessible ship handling Seafarer: The Ship Sim captures the freedom and atmosphere of work and life at sea. You build your reputation across different harbors and factions by transporting cargo, answering coast guard distress calls and a number of other diverse tasks. Successful missions unlock new opportunities and ships, while a narrative-driven campaign draw you into a dramatic maritime journey shaped by sabotage, piracy and long-buried secrets.

Since its Early Access launch, the game has received new ships, additional interactions including rescue missions and cargo-types, an expanded trading and economy system, cooperative multiplayer and numerous improvements. The full-release update adds eight further missions and additional gameplay enhancements.

Seafarer: The Ship Sim is now available for PC for $24.99 / ₤20.99 / 24.99€ (SRP) via Steam and Epic Games Store as well as for PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S for $34.99 / ₤29.99 / 34.99€. All Editions and offers of Seafarer: The Ship Sim can be found on the official website.
