Shiro Unlimited will soon expand its portfolio thanks to investment from new shareholder Cathay Capital.

The partnership will provide Shiro with expanded resources for both its publishing arm and development team, allowing the Bordeaux-based company to continue producing exciting new projects including two unannounced titles currently in the works.

Founders Sebastien Vidal and Nicolas Cannasse alongside their strong, rapidly expanding team of 60 employees, are eager to add to an impressive catalog that has grown to feature six successful titles since the company’s inception in 2012.

Shiro Games’ development team is responsible for multimillion-selling Viking strategy game Northgard, critically acclaimed 4X RTS game from a renowned franchise Dune: Spice Wars, the beloved Evoland series, and open-world action RPG Wartales which has sold more than 250,000 copies in Steam Early Access. On the publishing side, Shiro Unlimited made a splash at PC Gaming Show 2022 with the reveals of anticipated titles Decarnation and Abyssals.
