9th February 2017 – Leamington Spa, UK – SlingShot Cartel today announced their first title: The DRG Initiative. Built using the Amazon Lumberyard engine, The DRG Initiative is a 3rd person, team-based shooter set in the far future, with factions fighting for control on a hostile planet Earth.

Created for esports, The DRG Initiative uses Amazon Lumberyard to add a unique twist to the genre by making broadcasters and Twitch viewers an integral part of the game, with features designed and built specifically for them to play a crucial role in influencing the outcome of battles.

Amazon Lumberyard is a free AAA, cross-platform, 3D game engine that helps developers to bring their most ambitious projects to life by unlocking the power of the AWS Cloud and Twitch.
