The London-based (the UK) indie games developer and publisher Tower Studios (which is owned solely by Jon Hare) are today very glad and proud to announce that their arcade action/sports game “Sociable Soccer 24“, is now available for PC via Steam.

Jon Hare, the British designer of Sociable Soccer 24 and the much loved Sensible Soccer dynasty of games is buzzing with excitement & nerves as he leads his latest prodigy up the tunnel and onto the pitch.

“Maybe we are crazy for combining 13,000 licensed professional football players with old fashioned, fun arcade gameplay and Fortnite style presentation.” Said Hare “But we have always believed there is a huge gap in the market for a different sort of licensed action football game.”

“EA and Konami may make brilliant football simulations, but they are also boring, samey football simulations. Our game is something different, something to celebrate the changing of the guard for football games now FIFA Soccer is no more. Playing games should be about being entertained and having fun, as serious football fans we think we have created the perfect balance of a deeply competitive, real sporting world, the light hearted spirit of friendly rivalry and truly exhilarating gameplay where you’re always in control.”

Sociable Soccer 24 is now available on Steam for £24.99 / €29.99 / $29.99, the game will also be available via other outlets, with boxed copies due out early next year.

Meanwhile everyone who bought Sociable Soccer on Steam Early Access has been promised a free copy by publisher Tower Studios and release dates for console versions will be announced in the near future.
