Spiderweb Software Surprises Everyone By Managing a Successful Kickstarter. One Week Left!

June 21st, 2018 – Spiderweb Software, Inc., makers of fine, humble indie adventures for 24 years, is somehow managing to have a successful Kickstarter campaign. We asked for your help making Queen’s Wish: The Conqueror, our all-new fantasy role-playing epic for Windows, Mac, and iOS. We didn’t think anyone would notice. Instead, generous gamers funded our microscopic game company beyond any level expected or deserved.

Spiderweb Software is a small mom and pop game company, and the level of support from our fans has humbled and inspired us. We’ve added more stretch goals for the last week, including our terrifying return to making games for Android. Our Kickstarter still offers the chance to back our game, buy the chance to take part in making it, and, if you ever pirated our games, purchase a personalized Scroll of Absolution.

In Queen’s Wish: The Conqueror, you are the youngest child of Queen Sharyn, the absolute leader of the Empire of Haven. Your mother has decided to eject you from your life of comfort and force power upon you. Your new home: The wild, war-torn land of Sacramentum.

To win the Queen’s favor, you must rebuild your lost colony. Will you be a diplomat or a warrior of Empire? An obedient or rebellious child? It will be up to you. But watch out … Whatever path you want to take, the temptations to turn away from it will be cunning and constant.

Explore an enormous outdoors and a multitude of towns and dungeons. Fight clever, carefully designed turn-based battles. Meet three different fierce nations and deal with them with bribery, diplomacy, or (if you choose) violence. Build new forts and customize them, choosing among upgrades that give your adventurers powerful bonuses.
