Heroes, prepare your steel for newfound powers: crafting comes to the turn-based tactical RPG and dungeon crawler looter “Stolen Realm“!

Indie studio Burst2Flames announces the release of a new major content update for “Stolen Ream”, which overhauls the crafting and profession systems, along with adding many quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

The main focus of this update, available today, is a brand new Crafting system that allows you to infuse your weapons with new powers with materials found by fishing, mining and gathering.

This system is based on prefix and suffix modifiers: for instance, a Hallowed Longbow of the Titan would give your arrows the highest bonus damage possible, as well as increasing the power of your heals.

And that’s not all – you can also now craft Potions at the consumable shops, adding a new layer of exploration and gathering materials during your adventures.

This is all tied with another addition of the latest patch: the new Gathering and Fishing profession nodes, both featuring their own minigames, with which you can get the materials needed for your crafting.

These new systems will be an integral part of the game from now on, allowing for full customization of the player characters and taking one step in allowing you to minmax your gear for higher difficulty levels.

While these two are major additions to the game, this patch also brings forth a bunch of bug fixes and general balance changes such as changes to the drop chance of legendary and mythic gear; the full patch notes can be found here.

Stolen Realm is a mix of turn-based tactical RPG and dungeon crawler looter, where you lead a party of up to 6 heroes in single-player or online coop adventures in a low-poly, high-fantasy world.

Wield your weapon of choice, unique skills, and powerful magic as a fighter, thief, ranger or wizard – or create a completely custom character to fit your playstyle, increasing your stats and choosing skills as you level up and loot powerful gear in your adventures.

Pick your path between battles, deciding between story events, resource gathering, shops, fights, and treasure rooms, until you get to the final boss of each individual adventure.

Maybe you prefer being a Shadow Knight, or a spell-slinging assassin? With the game’s multiple systems and flexible customization options you can choose to invest into a single tree or pick and mix between the 8 skill trees to your heart’s content.
