From 4th June owners of the PlayStation VR from Europe, Africa and Oceania can play the Summer Funland, a virtual reality amusement park. For only 19,90 € via PSN they will have unlimited access to all attractions.

Summer Funland is a VR funfair created by the indie developer Monad Rock from Poland. It was before already available on PlayStation VR in America and South Korea from March 2019. Earlier owners of the most popular virtual reality sets and PCs could enjoy it.

“We get positive feedback from Summer Funland users, which motivates us to further work on the project”, said Marcin Kryszpin, head of the Monad Rock studio.

“We are pleased that more and more PlayStation VR players can enjoy our theme park, we are also waiting for their opinions”, he added.

Summer Funland was originally released on PC in 2018, since then developers have been developing the project, adding new attractions to it. There are now 17, and all of them are available on the PlayStation VR. In addition to the entertainment that can be found in traditional amusement parks, such as rollercoaster, climbing or arcade mini-games.

Summer Funland also offers unforgettable experiences:
– Space Journey,
– Underwater World,
– Retro unicorn ride,
– Candyland,
– Hot Pot.
All of the mini-games guarantees great fun without leaving your home.

The virtual amusement park created by Monad Rock was also well received by the gaming industry – Summer Funland recently won second place during the third edition of the Viveport Developer Awards (VDA), which took place on March 18th, 2019, in San Francisco.

Summer Funland is a virtual amusement park where a player can take advantage of attractions such as roller coaster or an underwater world without leaving home.

The application contains several mini-games, and the creators are working on the next ones. The game has been released on all major platforms: Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality, and PlayStation VR.

Summer Funland is available on Steam, PlayStation Store NA, Oculus and Viveport, and in selected VR showrooms.
