The Madrid-based (Spain) indie games publisher Gammera Nest and Málaga-based (Spain) indie games developer Chaotic Lab, are today very proud and glad to announce that their first-person puzzle/platform game “System of Souls”, is now digitally and physically (via select retail stores) available for PC via Steam and Playstation (PS5 and PS4) via PSN.

Do souls take up space? Finally, yes. We were eager to say it. And now they can also take up space in your digital storage. Or on your bookshelf. Because the release of System of Souls, the game by Chaotic Lab that explores the very nature of the soul, has arrived.

And it comes in two ways: in digital edition for PlayStation 5 and PC, and in physical edition for PS5, brought to you by Selecta Play. Get them on the PlayStation Store, on Steam, and at your favorite physical stores.

And what is waiting for you in System of Souls? A fantastic first-person, puzzle-solving, sci-fi video game.

The ecological catastrophe of the year 2155 is becoming incompatible with life. That’s why the company ION is making a fortune as the only one capable of transferring the souls of citizens to synthetic bodies: the androids L-064N. But it turns out that not all these transfers go well. At least, yours, oh calamity, has not gone well: because you do not remember who you are or what you are doing in this stainless steel world.

With that premise, you’ll have to retrieve your entire past, hidden in the farthest corners of this complex of glass, stainless steel, and neon lights that is ION. You are not alone. Aurea is an artificial intelligence that will assist you in activating your neural network with mental challenges to help you remember. With her help, you will find the warehouse where human souls are preserved: the Atkinson-Schiffrin Tower, a sinister place that gives off a pretty creepy vibe.

System of Souls proposes a first-person game mechanics, whose puzzles are solved with only one hand and all your neurons, interacting with the objects that you will find.

This way you will make your way through the immense complex of ION in search of your spirit, which is the same as looking for meaning in your life. So make room for this game in your digital storage, on your bookshelf and, above all, in your soul.
