Thursday 6th March, 2019 – Russia – Having exceeded its 100K US$ Kickstarter goal in June 2018 for “Grimshade“, fledgling Russia developer Talerock, a team of 21 gaming specialists, have since been busy developing their JRPG debut title, set in the fantastic fantasy world of Ree’Fah, which will offer RPG gamers a slice of magical immersement.

Grimshade will be released by publisher, Asterion Games, on Windows PC via Steam on 26th March 2019.

Grimshade is a party-based, tactical adventure, role-playing game inspired by JRPG of the 90s, featuring a turn-based combat system and a unique grim and absorbing story of war and personal choices.

The elite band of adventurers, that the player assembles, will interact and form an intricate synergy of relationships in what is within a very detailed and eye catching world. Monsters, battles, conflict and quests will unfold as the band of multi skilled cast vye to become the saviours of this land.

At the commencement of Grimshade, players will journey through an hour long tutorial, fully integrated into the gameplay, to become not only accustomed to the world, the cast, the weapons and mechanics of the play, but will seamlessly begin to understand how events are triggered by certain actions, each of which has its own unique consequence.

Grimshade delivers a visually enticing and stylized hand drawn artistic look, with seven main party characters, an endless series of settings -some bizarre, some frightening, some just beautiful – but all will test your skills, be it in combat, forward thinking or plain old common sense, in a storyline of intrigue, as you endeavour to progress and develop your characters with an endless array of weapons, crafts and equipment.

‘Grimshade tells the story of the company of heroes, by a twist of fate involved in the cycle of events unfolding in the world of Ree’fah. Numerous dreadful monsters infested the forest around the city of Brann and high walls could no longer protect residents from the attacks.

The menacing army of the neighbouring kingdom suddenly landed on the outskirts of the city, wreaking havoc.

There is no hope for salvation — the strength of the defenders is running low, but the king and his loyal Champions had vanished’.
