Press release:
Friday, 24th January 2020 – Team17 and Hermes Interactive are excited to announce that “Automachef” is ushering in the Year of the Rat with a new update, including three brand new levels all centred around the Chinese New Year. A collection of Far Eastern dishes will be working their way onto the menu today on PC and Nintendo Switch™ alongside a brand new machine.

Kung pao chicken, steamed rice, and dumplings are among the new recipes served up in the Lunar Update. Players will be required to utilise the new food steamer to make sure orders arrive correctly and on time as they navigate even more kitchen-based puzzles!

Automachef key features:
– Plan. Position. Program: Design and build automated restaurants, then program them to run like a well-oiled machine.
– Challenging puzzles: Tackle intricate spatial, resource management, and scenario puzzles!
– Multiple modes: Overcome the campaign, take on the business world in contracts mode, or be creative in the sandbox test mode
– Mod Support: Players can create their own ingredients, recipes, and scenario levels via Steam Workshop
