The US and Armenia-based indie games developer Aya Games are today very happy and proud to announce that their highly anticipated, surreal 2.5D narrative platformer, ‘Ayasa: Shadows of Silence’, is now available for PC via Steam and the Epic Games store.

Blending quests, horror, and puzzles, players step into a once-balanced realm now consumed by chaos. Armed with the last remnants of Tash’s light, Ayasa must travel through the Inverted World’s corrupted lands to restore harmony.

Ultimately, it is the player’s choices that determine whether Ayasa’s journey leads to redemption and balance, or a descent into tyranny.

Players will navigate treacherous terrain, avoid lurking dangers, and solve intricate environmental puzzles using Ayasa’s time control, invisibility, and energy manipulation abilities.

Inspired by Tim Burton, René Laloux, Robert Sahakyants, and Hayao Miyazaki, the game blends surreal fairy-tale aesthetics with noir melancholy. Every frame is crafted as a symbolic painting, every environment whispers its own story, and every choice carries weight.

“With imagery, music, and movement, we aimed to build a poetic experience – one where players feel the conflict between light and shadow within themselves as they guide Ayasa through this fractured world.”
