The Barcelona-based (Spain) indie games publisher Selecta Play and Zaragoza-based (Spain) indie games developer Disaster Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that their 2D action platformer “Morkull Ragast’s Rage“, is now available for PC (via Steam )and consoles (Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S).

Embrace evil and control Morkull, the villain of this story, to escape Ragast and carry out his wicked plans in this 2D action platformer.

Tap into Morkull’s powerful moveset as the God of Death and Darkness to destroy anyone in his way and platform your way to freedom.

Though he is a villain, Morkull is the hero of this story and he knows it; he also has a great sense of humor that is showcased with fourth wall breaks, pop culture references, and a lighthearted atmosphere. Not only is Morkull aware that he’s in a video game called Morkull Ragast’s Rage, he’s aware the team at Disaster Games created him and that you, the player, are controlling him. That’s why he looks to you to help him escape Ragast and take over the world.

Morkull Ragast’s Rage is inspired and influenced by traditional animated films and your favorite two-dimensional games, which is why it’s completely hand-drawn and animated frame-by-frame. The game’s beautiful art style brings its cast of characters and world to life alongside a combat system that invites experimentation. As the God of Death and Darkness, tap into Morkull’s wide selection of combos and abilities to defeat a wide range of enemies and bosses.
