The Poznań-based (Poland) indie games developer Ancient Forge (the makers of “The Tenants”) today announced with great thrill and happiness that their post-apocalyptic 2D bullet-heaven/RPG “Ashes to Ashes“, is coming to PC via Steam in Q4 2023.

Furthermore, “Ashes To Ashes” has also just launched its Steam page and a draft of the crowdfunding campaign that will bring this title development closer to the community.

You play as an emissary of an ancient AI tree that sends you out onto the banished land, hoping to fight off the evil forces and return the world to its peaceful state.

Wander through the corrupted lands and slay hordes of enemies using the unique abilities of your hero. In a world where the most vital currency is your survival time, your death brings you new opportunities. Choose one of the 8+ unique heroes to master or explore them all to adjust the gameplay to your own playstyle. Unlock their unique skills, and enjoy the addictive replayability with fast pacing and absorbing yet simple gameplay for everyone!

Assemble new structures, recruit heroes, and witness the transformation of the once-desolate refuge into a thriving sanctuary!

Ashes To Ashes is available now to wishlist on Steam, but Ancient Forge is preparing the game for a Crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound

While the company can fully fund its projects thanks to its previous, very successful projects (The Tenants, Glorious Companions), crowdfunding will bring the community closer to the development process long before the Early Access hits Steam.
