The Warsaw-based (Poland) indie games publisher and developer Retrovibe and Italy-based indie games developer small bros (Ivan Porrini), today announced with great excitement and delight that their retro-like 2D metroidvania action-platformer “B.I.O.T.A.” is now available for PC via Steam and GOG.
“B.I.O.T.A.” is an intense action-platformer set in a mining colony infected by an alien plague. This 2D metroidvania also features 54 unique 4-color palettes that gamers can unlock and swap at any time during their play to customize the game’s retro visuals.
With 8 playable characters, a story campaign, arcade levels, and additional game modes, “B.I.O.T.A.” mixes the charm of retro games with modern-day convenience like the full controller support and saving anywhere. It’s an ultimate throwback for everyone who enjoys (or wants to discover) the retro vibes of 8-bit consoles and the first PCs from the early 90s’.
The game is available now on Steam and GOG for 9.99 USD / 8.99 EUR with a 10% launch discount for a week.
