The Berlin-based (Germany) hands-on boutique game publisher PRISMATIKA and Cape Town-based (South Africa) indie games developer QCF Design, today announced with great thrill and joy that their 3D tactical dungeon crawler “Desktop Dungeons: Rewind” (which is a lovingly-made 3D remake of 2011’s IGF ‘Excellence in Design’ winner Desktop Dungeons) is coming to PC via Steam in Q4 2022.

“Desktop Dungeons: Rewind” bestows bites of tactical roguelike action, which will quickly fester into a deep, lingering, and strategic obsession. New to the 3D remake, death is no longer the end of the adventure with the ‘Rewind’ feature, an insurance policy that allows you to replay a dungeon from an earlier point, try different strategies and defeat monsters in new ways. Get ready to bargain with gods, equip your spoon and pick your battles, before retreating into the healing darkness. But beware… There are still many monsters to face!

Desktop Dungeons: Rewind is the second announced title by newly formed PRISMATIKA, a hands-on boutique publisher founded by two former senior execs at Humble Bundle, and its publishing division Humble Games. PRISMATIKA partner closely with indie studios to help bring their uniquely creative games to full fruition.
