Press release:
Paris, March 26th, 2026 – Arc System Works Co., Ltd. today launches the top-down action-adventure shooter “DAMON and BABY” on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Steam®. A launch trailer is also available starting today. In addition, a roadmap outlining free updates that will allow players to continue enjoying the game, as well as a message from the developers, are now accessible to everyone.

A new kind of action-adventure mixing gun action and exploration!

This touching story follows Damon, a demon lord who becomes magically bound to a mysterious child, as he sets out on a journey to break the spell. This new action-adventure game blends exploration in a vast world with the precision shooting of a twin-stick shooter. Players will alternate between upgrading their base of operations and exploring, using a variety of weapons such as pistols and machine guns to face bosses in strategic battles.

Skill customization and a wide range of costume options allow players to enjoy the adventure with their own playstyle and visuals. Additionally, the game supports offline two-player co-op, where one player can control a canine companion to collect items and assist in combat.

Regular updates are also planned, ranging from minor improvements inspired by valuable player feedback to major content additions that will further expand the game’s universe.
