Berlin, Germany –September 27, 2022.
The Berlin-based (Germany) indie games publisher and developer Crunchy Leaf Games, today announced with great delight and excitement that their action-roguelike space shooter “Galactic Glitch” is coming to PC via Steam in early 2023.

Furthermore, Crunchy Leaf Games has also just announced that a demo will be available for “Galactic Glitch” during the Steam Next Fest October (2022) event (which goes on between October 3rd and October 10th). So be sure to check that demo out before the Next Fest October event ends!

“Galactic Glitch” is an Action-Roguelike Space Shooter, heavily inspired by games like Dead Cells and Enter the Gungeon, that lets you master deep, physics-based combat and your ship’s shape-shifting ability to demolish multi-part enemies piece by piece in tough-but-fair, souls-inspired combat.

“We are huge Dead Cells fans, and so we wanted to make a game that paid homage to it”, says Max Dohme, lead developer at Crunchy Leaf Games. “I’m a huge space game fan, so I’ve always dreamt of combining Action-Roguelikes with that genre, to create something like Galactic Glitch”.

In Galactic Glitch, you play an AI on the run, who is fighting not just for its own freedom but also for the existence of the entire universe. Control a shape-shifting starship built by a mysterious being that (mis)directs you on your journey, and find a way out of the simulated world you find yourself in.

A Kickstarter campaign to back the further development of Galactic Glitch is planned later this year. Crunchy Leaf plans to use the funds to grow their team and spend more time creating more content like more powers, enemies, weapons, and biomes.
