Budapest, Hungary / Vienna, Austria, July 11th,
The Vienna-based (Austria) video games publisher and developer THQ Nordic and Budapest-based (Hungary) indie games developer Kite Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that their action-RTS/RPG “The Valiant”, is now available for Xbox (Xbox Series X/S and the Xbox One) and Playstation (PS5 and PS4) consoles via digital stores.

Only you can stop your former brother-in-arms, a crusader knight corrupted by an ancient artefact. Command your units, use their skills, and gain experience over the course of an epic single player campaign with 15 hand-crafted missions, as well as cooperative or competitive multiplayer modes.

The following multiplayer game modes are available for the demo:

Last Man Standing

Players are able to access all 3 heroes
Players cannot progress pass level 5
Players will continue to accumulate XP after reaching the level limit; if they purchase the full game, they will realize any progress that was restricted by the level limit

Competitive

Players can only select Theoderic and Konrad
Players can only play the map “Road” (1v1 map) in skirmish (offline) and custom match
Players can use quickmatch
Cosmetic progress is not disabled, and they will earn competitive XP and unlock/earn cosmetics
While they can preview these cosmetics in the customization menus, they cannot save/apply them
Once they’ve unlocked the full game, they can apply any cosmetics they’ve earned

Achievements/Trophies are disabled for both platforms when playing the demo only.

The Valiant is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC at an SRP of €24.99 / $24.99 / £19.99. For PC we still offer The Valiant as part of the Steam Summer Sale which gives players a juicy 50% on The Valiant till July 13th.
