The indie games publisher and indie games developer Voyvod Arts are today super excited and happy to announce that their alternate-history visual novel/adventure game “One Spirit” is coming to PC via Steam in 2022.

In a Cold War that never ended, a young man returns home to face the reality of a dying nation and its consequences for his loved ones

Voyvod Arts is glad to present the alternate-history visual novel One Spirit, a coming-of-age story about the despair of a lost generation, set in an alternate timeline where the Cold War never ended. You play as Yuri, a young man who comes back to his hometown and finds himself involved in a dangerous game after the disappearance of a young local activist.

The game explores not just the political implications of such an alternate Europe in the 21st Century, but an insight into the existential depth of everyday people as well. In this phlosophical and emotional journey, players will meet 12 characters with a unique story parallel to the main plot and a similar trait: they’re all set in a path of self-discovery and affirmation in a world that denies them any future.

The studio plans to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in Q2 2021; the details of this campaign will be announced at a later date.

ABOUT ONE SPIRIT
One Spirit follows Yuri Danilin, a 18-year-old student disenchanted with life who returns to Nevilyovsk, his hometown, after finishing secondary education in the capital city. When news of a young local activist disappearing spread through the town, Yuri finds himself at the center of a dangerous game of truths that will push the whole country to the edge.

Voyvod Arts is an indie game studio that was officially founded in 2021 by Marc “Svadoch” Camañes. The team, consisting of six members who work from Spain, Germany, UK, Indonesia and Australia, aims to create meaningful visual novels that change the way we see this genre in Western countries.
