Press release:
The Warszawa-based (Poland) indie games publisher and developer Longterm Games, today announced with great thrill and delight that their amazing 2.5D adventure/puzzle platformer “Space Tail: Console Edition“, is coming to consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and the Xbox One) via digital stores on March 9th, 2023.

Soon more players will get a chance to check out this extraordinary 2.5D platformer. Space Tail: Every Journey Leads Home is coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles on March 9th. That is not all! Players who buy the basic version of the game will get a special DLC called Homecoming for free.

Adorable Bea goes into space once more! Her cosmic adventure is not over yet and soon more players will get to know her stunning story. Everything thanks to the release on Xbox and PlayStation.

Moreover, the expansion Space Tail: Homecoming brings additional content and completely new stories. Bea will visit the place where comets are born and the factory where Artificial Intelligence constructs its machines. These two new locations are full of secrets waiting to be discovered. During her missions, our brave dog will make new friends with some unusual creatures.

Even though Bea is a resolute dog, she will not be able to finish her adventure without your help! While taking control of Bea, you will face several diverse challenges. Get ready for plenty of puzzles and challenging mechanics typical for platformer games.

Story prepared by the developers from Longterm Games is deeper than you might think. Space Tail: Every Journey Leads Home will make you think not only about dogs like the famous Laika, who lost her life during a space mission, but also about human presence in space. Is there a place for us out there?

Getting to know other cosmic species is one of Bea’s favorite things. The language of our four-legged friends is something that we must learn, while interacting with the world through dog’s gestures and moves might be funny to watch. Barking, rolling, and playing will be crucial for our new friendships. Just remember, Bea is not a superhero with a bunch of superpowers. She is a dog, and she behaves like a dog. That is special enough.

Did we mention that you can pet and play with Bea anytime you want?
Learn why Space Tail: Every Journey Leads Home and the free DLC

Homecoming are so unique:
· Be a space dog – Bea is just an average dog, sent by humans to the unexplored vastness of space. As such she possesses no superpowers and has to rely on what nature gave her – great hearing and smell, speed, and cunning to overcome obstacles.
· Space Tail: Homecoming – the free DLC adds two maps with new characters and stories. Moreover, thanks to that extension Bea will get more cool outfits to wear during her adventures.
· In space everyone can hear you bark – Space Tail’s hero will also have to take over the hearts (or whatever organs they use) of aliens. By interacting using gestures and moves she can befriend other races (or irritate them). Their reactions are crucial to moving forward. Bea will also become friends with some untypical companions, who will assist her for a longer part of the journey.
· Diverse and complex biomes and puzzles – our space explorer enters a truly uncharted territory. With each visited planet, players will encounter new flora, fauna and alien technology, traverse maze-like environments and solve tricky puzzles to progress further.
· A tribute to the first astronauts – real-life dog astronauts and cosmonauts didn’t have a happy life and many were lost so mankind could reach the stars. Space Tail wants to show an optimistic and heartwarming tale of a dog that returned from its journey and make players consider how much we owe to our four-legged friends.

Space Tail: Every Journey Leads Home and Space Tail: Homecoming are coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X on March 9th. Free DLC is also available for those who own the Nintendo Switch version. The game and the extension are available on PC through Steam and GOG.
