Marvelous Europe, today shared more information about their upcoming action-RPG, ‘”Silent Hope“, which is scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Switch™ system in North America and Windows PC via Steam worldwide on Oct. 3.

The publisher released a new video showcasing each of the seven playable characters’ unique fighting styles and strengths to prepare players before they delve deep into The Abyss in their quest to aid the Princess and return words to their world.

The publisher also released the first installment of the ‘Official World Guide,’ an online resource of information about the setting and characters of Silent Hope that will be expanded with additional details, assets, and tips from the development team before the title releases.

Today’s first update dives into the lore of Silent Hope, detailing the historical events that resulted in the Princess being suspended in a crystal teardrop and her call to action for her seven champions.

The Guide also explores additional content not found anywhere else, including the personalities of the seven heroes, their backstories and how they found their way to the Great Crystal, an exciting look at the weapons they wield, and a reveal of the advanced classes they can unlock.

Silent Hope harkens back to the glory days of isometric dungeon-crawlers but with a modern flair. Players will take on the roles of seven unlikely heroes, each with their own unique weapon, fighting style, and non-combat job.

After spending their days battling through enemies and collecting materials in The Abyss, the heroes will return to Base Camp to craft, improve gear, and prepare for their next excursion. Each journey into The Abyss will be a fresh experience, with procedurally generated layouts ensuring no two adventures are the same, with even greater dangers lurking the further the heroes dare to venture.

Preorders are now available for the standard edition via the Marvelous Europe website at participating retailers and is available for digital pre-purchase for 39.99/£34.99 on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Silent Hope will be published by Marvelous Europe for Nintendo Switch in Europe and Australia on October 3rd, 2023. XSEED Games will be publishing the Nintendo Switch version in North America and the PC via Steam version worldwide. This title has been rated PEGI 12.
