“Silent Hope” is now available for PC and the Switch

Marvelous Europe today released their intriguing new action-RPG, “Silent Hope“, on the Nintendo Switch™ system in Europe and Australia and Windows PC via Steam worldwide through XSEED Games.

To mark the game’s release the ‘Official World Guide’ for Silent Hope has received its final update, expanding the wealth of game and lore information available with new strategy tips to prepare players before their first adventures into The Abyss.

Additionally, today a Digital Deluxe edition was revealed for Steam offering an art book with over 100 pages and original soundtrack with 33 tracks and for the first week after launch, Steam players can also take advantage of a 10% launch week discount on the standard and Digital Deluxe editions.

Furthermore, purchases within the first week of launch will also get the “Wanderer’s Special Weapon & Voidstone Set” DLC, which offers players an exclusive in-game weapon for the Wanderer, one of the seven heroes braving the Abyss.

This DLC will be free to download on the Nintendo eShop and be included with all purchases on Steam for one week after launch, after which it will be available for purchase. Gamers who have save data from the demo released on Sept. 14 can continue their playthrough after purchasing the game on the same platform.

Silent Hope harkens back to the glory days of isometric dungeon-crawlers, but with a modern touch. Players will take the role of seven unlikely heroes, each with their own unique weapon, separate fighting style, and non-combat job, spending their days battling through enemies and collecting materials in The Abyss before returning to Base Camp to craft and rest up for their next adventure.

Each journey into The Abyss will be a fresh experience, with procedurally generated layouts ensuring no two expeditions into the mysterious caverns below will be the same. The deeper the heroes delve, the more about the world that once was they’ll uncover, and the greater rewards – and challenges – they’ll find.

In a world without words, what hope is there for humanity? Silent Hope takes place in a once-peaceful land, silenced by the former King who stole people’s speech before escaping into the endless chasm known as The Abyss. Following these events, the Princess, mourning her father’s actions, wept until she was entombed in a magical teardrop.

Now, years after these events faded from memory, seven heroes find themselves imbued with new powers and drawn towards the Princess; and to free her they must brave the depths of The Abyss to find the long-lost King and free the Princess from her crystalline prison.

Can these seven unlikely strangers come together in wordless unity to save the princess, and in doing so return words to the world once again?

Silent Hope was released for Nintendo Switch in Europe and Australia by Marvelous Europe on October 3rd, 2023. XSEED Games published the Nintendo Switch version in North America and the PC via Steam version worldwide.

The physical edition can be purchased via the Marvelous Europe website at participating retailers and the title is available for digital purchase on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Steam. This title has been rated PEGI 12.
