Press release:
PQube (London, UK) – 11th November, 2025.
The Indie games publisher PQube Ltd and indie games developer KEMCO, are today very excited and pleased to announce that their upcoming visual novel ‘Death Match Love Comedy!’, is coming digitally and physically to PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch) on February 19th, 2026.
Death Match Love Comedy! combines comedic scenarios with a heavy occult theme that blends religious, historical, and mythical concepts into a unique universe.
🔮In this strange world a curse can have disastrous effects, and our main protagonist Kei has been afflicted with just that – a curse which causes him to explode if confessed to. Now he must uncover who cursed him and why, and with the help of his friends, he navigates a whole unfamiliar realm of the unknown.
💔As a fresh-faced high schooler there’s nothing worse than not being able to receive confessions of love, but no matter what happens Kei will always have his trusty sense of humour at his side, and with it any horrific situation can be overcome.
💥Death Match Love Comedy! features an unexpected, branching narrative, with multiple routes and endings, as the story challenges players at every turn to help Kei survive his explosive predicament or watch him become the victim of it.
