Press release:
The Tel Aviv-based indie games collective Lo-Fi People are today very delighted and excited to announce that their audio-based black comedy action/arcade thriller  game “Blind Drive” is coming to PC (via Steam) and mobile (for iOS and Android) today.

Described by PC Gamer as “an absurdist crime thriller, as told by the voice of a Jackbox Party Pack announcer”, Blind Drive delivers a chaotic b-movie style caper, with a unique approach to gameplay and storytelling.

In Blind Drive, players take on the role of unsuspecting driver who’s been chained to their steering wheel and instructed by a mysterious voice on the phone to drive against traffic.
Oh, and if the odds didn’t seem stacked against them enough already, they’ve also been blindfolded.

The resulting adventure is a uniquely fresh experience dubbed by Mashable as “VR for your ears”. Players will need to rely on the sounds of their surroundings combined with their own imagination and instincts to make it to safety, while a hilariously sharp comedy storyline plays out around them, featuring police chases, rogue ice cream vans and gravity-defying plunges.

Blind Drive has been in development for several years, during which time it has been picked for inclusion in several well-known and respected gaming events, such as EGX’s Leftfield Collection, A MAZE Festival and Fantastic Arcade – where players have been delighted by the game’s unique format.

In a joint statement, developers Doron Terre and Giori Politi said “We’re excited to finally get the game into players’ hands, and can’t wait to see what crazy skills their ears are capable of!”

Blind Drive releases today on Steam, iOS and Android.

About Blind Drive
Did you ever drive blindfolded? Now’s your chance! Blind Drive is a unique one-of a kind experience: an audio-based, black comedy arcade action game.

The entire game is experienced through your ears. You’re blindfolded and going against traffic. Cars rushing past, angry drivers yelling at you. Cops on your tail. And you can’t see a thing. Listen carefully now – do your ears have what it takes?

Play as Donnie, trying to make a quick buck in a scientific study but quickly finding himself in over his head, cuffed to the wheel and driving blindfolded against traffic. Plus he’s late for dinner with Grandma.
