Press release:
Montpellier, France – April 20th, 2023.
The Montpellier-based (France) indie games publisher Dear Villagers (“The Forgotten City”, “ScourgeBringer”) and Solo developer Benjamin Kiefer (aka “BenStar”), are today super happy and excited to announce that their twin-stick roguelite platformer “Revita”, is now available for Playstation (PS5 and PS4) and Xbox (Xbox Series X/S and the Xbox One) via digital stores for £16.99 /$16.99/16.99€ (this release was made possible thanks to Revita’s successful launch for PC and the Nintendo Switch last year).
In “Revita”, climb through an ominous clocktower and battle through a series of procedurally generated encounters with foes and challenges in order to uncover lost memories and discover the mysteries of the melancholic world. Play as a nameless child with no sense of who or where they are and exchange health for upgrades as the game dares the player to play on a razor’s edge!
Alongside the digital releases, a physical edition of Revita will also be available for Switch and PlayStation 5 by Red Art Games (www.redartgames.com) soon, and the game will also release on Opera GX tomorrow. Revita is playable in English, French, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
“Since launching Revita on Nintendo Switch and Steam last year, the reception has been overwhelmingly positive so bringing the game to PlayStation and Xbox was the natural next step”, said Benjamin Kiefer aka BenStar, developer of Revita.
“We can’t wait to share the unique arcade-inspired twin-stick experience with fans of the genre on these consoles!”
“Revita offers a truly unique and immersive experience that brings this arcade roller coaster ride to your living room, and we’re so excited to bring that to the new generation of consoles this year,” said Guillaume Jamet, Head of Publishing for Dear Villagers.
“With the procedurally generated rooms and vast customization options, playthroughs are thrilling and challenging, and never feel the same!”
