The China-based indie games publisher 2P Games and indie games developer Baochuan Games, are today very proud and happy to announce that their card-based survival game “Castaway Hand“, is now available for PC via Steam.

The game is a narrative adventure that mixes a card-based decision-making system with resource management and survival skills. Castaway Hand is available to purchase for $9.99 / €9.75, with a 10% release discount for 14 days.

The game was first presented during the Steam Next Fest in October, which allowed the developers to gather insights and feedback from players.

THE ULTIMATE SURVIVOR’S EXPERIENCE

The player will take on the role of a lone survivor on a desert island. After a great disaster during a holiday trip, the protagonist finds themself almost alive on the seashore with nothing of value but their bare hands. To survive on the island, players will have to make good use of the available resources on the island, cleverly manage their time and start hunting, harvesting and crafting those things that nature doesn’t provide on its own.

KEY FEATURES

Multiple Endings based on the player’s choices. From escaping the island to starting a new life there.
Resource Management will play a crucial role in survival. Hunting, gathering resources, crafting and optimising the day-night cycle time management.
Variable NPC Interactions. The characters presented in the game might become foes or allies depending on the player’s choices
