The Seattle-based (WA, the US) indie games develeper Oh My Me Games (the previous winner of the 2022 IGN Rogue Jam) are today very excited and happy to announce that their challenging retro 2.5D platformer “Seafrog“, is now available for PC via Steam.

Perform high-octane skateboarding tricks as you traverse through deteriorating ships filled with puzzles and challenges in this retro 2.5D platformer.

Catch Serious Air!
Seafrog introduces players to a froggy mechanic-in-training and his companion, Captain Woodsbeard. After walking the plank of a previous ship, the duo finds themselves adrift in the depths of an ever-growing sinkhole in the ocean. Their only chance of survival is to repair derelict ships, solve tricky contraptions, and gather fuel to save yer hinds! Every ship is the ultimate skatepark, and your wrench is your ride. Use a simple auto-trick system to make combos and fill up the boost meter; use this boost to smash through enemies, fly up walls, and stick to ceilings to access hard-to-reach items. Rely on the handy C-Star navigator to seek the ship’s corridors, pinpointing all items in every map location and opening up further world progression. Gather enough barnacles to fuel your cannon and launch yourself to other ship locations!

Wrench-tastic Enhancements
Use your boost to smash through enemies like a Fiji Mermaid or land a grind on a fat rat to continue your combo. Counteract damage by eating ladybugs to replenish your health or fill your boost meter. As you explore, new map upgrades will help you reach previously blocked areas. Use this exploration to your advantage to collect up to twenty-four mod chips for overall stat improvements. For a more relaxed experience, equip a wellness mod chip to enhance your health, or crank up the challenge with a speed-enhancing mod chip that boosts speed at the cost of other stats. Dive deeper into the system by arranging your mod chips by color to activate bonuses and get the most out of your layout, but be careful as sacrificing too much of a stat can heavily impact the gameplay.

Imaginative Story Telling
Land ho! Gradually uncover the tall tales of the sea across three unique story chapters. Battle vengeful Viking ghosts aboard the Sea Dragon. Dig in for a tasty meal aboard the Chunky Chacken, where you’ll discover a man-eating chicken outbreak. Finally, get ready for some monkey business at The Sweater Factory, an abandoned workshop run by an unexpected crew of apes causing all the ruckus. Each chapter holds Ultimate Master Gear, guarded by an ultimate boss. Live to tell the legendary tale of the mysterious seahole by kick-flipping your way through each boss and obtaining all the master gears!
